I bought a few of these for small projects. Other than the small 2k of program space, which is more than enough for simple applications, this is a great chip. No external crystal needed for 1MHz or 8MHz mode. If you have an Arduino, use the Arduino as ISP and find the cores for the attiny series, and you'll be ready to go.
Note that there is no analog to digital converter on these chips, but there is PWM. Almost a better idea to pay $1.50 more to get an ATMega328 with much more features.
