Nice part with a quirkInexpensive BJT with a good current rating for low voltage applications.
Be aware though that the pinout, seen from the front (flat side), is E-B-C (not the more common C-B-E like e.g. BCxxx parts), which may lead to apparent malfunctions if overlooked.
