Ordering Guide
A brand new streamlined system for ordering custom drill, UV printing, and enclosure modification services—faster and easier than ever before.
What’s Changed?
Before: You had to order enclosures and services first on our website, then go to the Tayda Box Tool dashboard to configure your jobs separately.
Now: You configure everything first in the Tayda Box Tool, and the system automatically generates an “Add to Cart” button that adds all the right enclosures and services to your cart. Place your order on our website and our system matches everything automatically.

Sign Up
Create an account on Tayda Box Tool using the same email as your Tayda Electronics account.

Save Templates
Create your Drill Templates and UV Printing Templates.

Create Box Jobs
Combine an enclosure type + drill template + UV template into a reusable Box Job Template.

Place Order
Use the Create Order form — it auto-adds everything to your Tayda Electronics cart.
Key Term: “Box Job Template”
A Box Job Template is a saved configuration that combines a specific enclosure type with a drill template and/or a UV printing template. Think of it as a reusable recipe for your custom enclosure. In a single order, you can include up to 10 different Box Job Templates, and each one can have as many enclosures as you need.

Sign Up on Tayda Box Tool
Create your account on the Tayda Box Tool website. This is where you’ll configure all your drill designs, UV printing templates, and orders.
Go to Tayda Box Tool →Critical: You must sign up with the same email address as your Tayda Electronics account. If the emails don’t match, the ordering system will not work.

Your Home Page Dashboard
Once you log in, the home page shows all your enclosure modification orders, the box jobs within them, and their current statuses. You can expand any order with the small arrow to see details.
Your orders will appear on this dashboard approximately 15 minutes after placing them on the Tayda Electronics website. While your order is being processed, check this dashboard regularly for status updates and any internal notes from our team.
Note: If we encounter any issues preparing your enclosures, we’ll post a message here on the dashboard rather than sending an email (emails often end up in junk/spam folders).
Home Page — View your orders, box jobs, and their statuses. The sidebar navigation provides access to all sections.

Save Your Drill Templates
Navigate to the Drill Templates page and click the “+ New Drill Template” button. Fill in your drill and shape coordinates in the form provided.

Save Your UV Printing Templates
Navigate to the UV Design Templates page and click the “+ New UV Template” button. Upload your PDF UV printing template along with its information.

Create Box Job Templates
Go to the Box Job Templates page and click “+ New Box Job Template”. In this form you’ll define which enclosure type you want, which drill template to use, which UV printing template to apply, and answer a few other configuration questions.
This is where you combine everything into a single reusable “recipe” for your custom enclosure.

Create Your Order
On the Box Job Templates page, click the green “Create Order” button. This opens a form where you can:
• Select up to 10 different Box Job Templates for this order
• Set the quantity of enclosures for each template
• Review the full order summary
Click the green “Create Order” button to start building your order.
Step 6a — Select Templates & Set Quantities:
Choose your Box Job Templates from the dropdown and specify how many enclosures you want for each one.
Select your Box Job Templates (up to 10) and set the quantity for each.
Step 6b — Review & Add to Cart:
The system will show you a complete summary of your order including all required products. When everything looks correct, click the green “Reserve Batch & Add to Cart” button. This will redirect you to the Tayda Electronics website with all enclosures and services automatically added to your cart.
Review your order summary, then click “Reserve Batch & Add to Cart” to proceed to checkout.
Do NOT edit quantities in your Tayda cart! After the system adds items to your cart on TaydaElectronics.com, do not change the quantities of enclosures or services. Modifying quantities will cause the system to fail to match your order with the configured jobs.

Optional: Separate Enclosures & Services
Optional Feature
If you want enclosures and services invoiced separately (for example, to keep service fees off your shipping invoice for tax purposes), check the box labeled “Separate Enclosures and Service Products” on the order summary screen.
This will give you two separate “Add to Cart” buttons — one for enclosures and one for services. Here’s how to complete this process:
1. Click “Add Enclosures to Cart” and complete that checkout first.
2. Then click “Add Service Products to Cart” and also click “Reserve Batch & Add to Cart”.
3. During checkout for the services order, enter your enclosure order number in the Order Comments box, wrapped in % signs.
Example: If your enclosure order number is 1000898544, enter
%1000898544% in the Order Comments box at checkout. This links the two orders together in our system.
With separation enabled, you get two “Add to Cart” buttons — one for enclosures, one for services.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you do rectangular drills with sharp inner edges?
Yes! We can do rectangular shape drills with sharp inner edges, with corner radius as low as 0.5mm.
Can I order several different color enclosures with their own drill and UV templates in a single order?
Absolutely. You can order up to 10 different enclosure models, each with their own drill and UV templates, in a single order. For each model, you can order as many enclosures as you need.
When will my order appear on the dashboard?
Your order will appear on the Tayda Box Tool home page dashboard approximately 15 minutes after placing the order on the Tayda Electronics website.
How will I be notified if there’s a problem with my order?
We post internal notes directly on your dashboard in the Tayda Box Tool rather than sending emails, since emails often don’t reach customer inboxes. Please check your dashboard regularly while your order is being processed.
