Perfect For Socketing Transistors, LED's, LDR's And More
This is a must have item for building effects pedals. Socket and test transistors on the board to eliminate build errors before they happen. Easy score and snap makes this a value priced item. I can make 13 transistor sockets from one strip. Try finding transistor sockets anywhere else for less than 3 cents each!

these things are great, especially on circuits you might want to change components on, e.g. LEDs and their resistors... use these to make ad-hock sockets on an otherwise standard solder perfboard. very handy. even more handy for circuit benders, and if you use devices that are not so great for standard DIP sockets and pin headers

A header by any other name...
is still a header. These are your standard machine-pin 40 pin headers (the type you can break off using wire cutters or fingernail clippers) at a cheap press-pin header price. They work exactly as you expect them to. Great for making DIP sockets (just use two single lines), switchable components (such as capacitors mentioned in another review), quick wire points for solid core wire, etc.
