Does it allI somehow manage to lose my diagram of the pinouts on these, but it doesn't take long to redo it. They have everything: an n.o. switch, an n.c switch, and the stereo contacts. Hard to justify buying an open frame mono jack any more. Just put one in my little Vox AC1 so I could run an external speaker. The n.c. switch was the key to that mod.

Needs a data sheetThis is a really sweet unit, but with five different solder terminals and the guts semi-concealed, it would be nice to have a data sheet.

Great after the learning curveGreat jacks, never really had a problem with them. They are a little long, but the perfect size in a 125B. I think the only difficult thing when it comes to these jacks is figuring out the pinout. Was a bit confusing at first, compared to your typical 3 lug stereo jack.

Super Space SaverThese are great little 1/4" jacks and really save on space inside stompboxes. High quality w/On-Off Tip and Ring connections. As a previous reviewer stated, quarters are tight in a B-Sized box, but we're all experts here, aren't we? We can make it work.

Great jacks, but very longThese jacks are great, but if you are planning on putting them in line with each other in an B sized box, you will have about 1mm clearance from the input leads to the output leads. I have pretty much resigned to only using these in BB sized enclosures. The open frame jacks keep your leads isolated from each other much better in a B enclosure. I know, that's counter-intuitive, but it is true.
I haven't tried these in a tiny A enclosure.Posted on

Great Jack at the Right PriceIf you want a good quailty jack for your DIY pedals, then this is the one. Much cheaper than the standard open frame jacks.
