These are all Taiwanese parts; of course the quality is good. Japan > America > Taiwan (in the top 3 aint bad) this socket is not just audio specific. I bought 5k at this price and could not be happier. Great bag a bones.

Great Jacks
I have been shopping around, and these are some of the best jacks I have used. The quality is good enough for me. I use them as mono jacks. These are not stereo jacks so be aware of that before you invest.

This is switched mono, not stereo
This is not a stereo socket. As with the previous reviewer I found this is a mono socket however there are not two earths on the ones I received. There is a connection between both bottom terminals until a plug is inserted which breaks that connection, and the terminal on the far side to the GROUND/SLEEVE terminal is connected to the TIP of the 3.5mm TRS plug.

This is a mono headphone socket that has the possibility of a "default" feed when no plug is present. For a simple mono connection connect ground to the terminal nearest the panel , and signal to the terminal opposite it on the bottom.

A nice little socket, just not described correctly.

Actually this is a mono audio jack, not suitable for stereo applications. There are two ground pins.
