Almost PerfectI agree that screws would be a good addition to this. I just completed 5 Xmas projects using these and found that Hot Melt glue in place of screws was Rock Solid. A few lines of glue and then pressed against a cedar piece worked fine. I replaced the battery several times to see if the holder would break free and it did not. Too bad this one doesn't come with an inline switch, however that was not a problem to wire one in.

Great holder!I really love this holder. Only thing I have an issue with is removing the battery. It's a really tight fit, but with how often I drop stuff, that's a good this. I just really wish this came with screws. As it is, I have to try and find two or three screws that are small enough, and then cut them to length. Other than that, you can't complain about the quality or the price. Sure as hell beats radio shack. I definately recommend this holder, just make sure you have screws that'll fit.

Excellent 9 volt battery holder.Works well vertical as well ( I have even used this on the outside of enclosures with great effect). Good tight fit without having to force the battery in. I really like the bonus of having screw holes already there.

excellent 9volt holder.This is great holder and the price is hard to beat. Has screw holes as well which is a plus. Battery fits well even in a vertical application. I have used these for an external vertical application on the side of a enclosure and it worked perfectly.

Quality holderThis is a great 9v battery holder. Battery fits nice and tight in the holder. Doesn't come loose easily. Holder is sturdy, plastic is not to brittle, has a bit of flex to it.
