Nice display but needs better documentaxnTo obtain contrast control on V0 (pin 3), solder over J2 jumper on reverse of board.
Follow the tutorial given at http://arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/LiquidCrystal and everything should be good.
Note that the datasheet provided for this display contains a typo in last line of Table 2, where If should be reported as 10.0mA. I measure 9.45mA in my situation.
