Very versatile
This is a nice little amp.
Made a nice 2.1 PC speaker set up with 2 of these.
It can handle 12v but gets hot enough for a heatsink.
At 9v it runs great without a heatsink even at full power.
The datasheet gives a plain jane amp setup which doesn't sound all to impressive, but with a bit of tweaking the gain(w/resistor),output and vcc caps you can get a really decent sound.
With all my components coming from Tayda(including PCB ) the cost was under $4.00 US for the amp circuit.
